A little about us

Our Luxury 54ft Yacht, the Lady Anita, is docked in a peaceful and quiet, prime reserved location within Gibraltar’s prestigious Marina Bay, next to Ocean Village.

We trust you will enjoy your time on-board; we try our best to go the extra step to make it an unforgettable experience – with a fully stocked fridge and nice bottle of wine on ice for all our guests on arrival. We pride ourselves on our great feedback, and many guests choose to return again. We are sure you will make memories to cherish for years to come too!

History of Elite Yacht Charters

Elite Yacht Charters is born

Back in 2014, Fernando Monteverde bought The Lady Anita luxury yacht from a Dutch company. Sailing the yacht to Gibraltar, the yacht was berthed at the upgraded Marina and after enjoying the luxuries of the yacht with his family, Fernando had an idea to share the experience and offer others the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable sunsets, breathtaking and impressive views of our rock and so much more in a truly unique and luxury sea experience.

The Luxury Yacht Hotel

In 2016, responding to numerous requests from chartering guests to spend more time on the yacht, the yacht was opened as a luxury hotel.

Elite Yacht Charters Limited diversified to enter the Hotel marketplace in the Mediterranean, and the yacht was brought up to code as a hotel destination, securing the name 'Luxury Yacht Hotel'. Proving to be very popular on online Travel Sites, it was awarded a 9.8/9.9 customer satisfaction rating from Booking.com - almost unrivalled in the travel marketplace!

Jordan and Valeria Taylor

In January 2019 Jordan and Valeria Taylor, and their two young boys, stayed on the yacht as a guest family. They enjoyed the experience so much, and made such a lasting friendship with Fernando, that they made an offer for the yacht and business, and with the blessing of Fernando have put all their effort into continuing the great success of Elite Yacht Charters and the Luxury Yacht Hotel, and hope for many years of enjoyment to come.

I consider myself to be immensely lucky to have been born and raised in Gibraltar. Living by the sea is a luxury not many of us enjoy on a daily basis.
Since a very young age, I run a large and successful family business in Gibraltar. After over forty years of hard work, I finally had the privilege of owning a yacht.
I deeply enjoyed the yacht with my family and friends, especially making beautiful memories. One day it came to my mind that I should charter my yacht. The idea was to offer clients the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable sunsets, breathtaking and impressive views of our rock and so much more in a truly unique and luxury sea experience.
